ter-mi-nal ve-loc-i-ty: noun - the constant speed that a free falling object eventually reaches when the resistance of the medium through which it is falling prevents further acceleration
Students were given materials to design a parachute that would have the most resistance when dropped. Mrs. Dennison was the launcher and students timed the descent of each parachute made by the different groups. Each parachute was dropped 3 times and those times where averaged.
Fun Science experiment!
