All baseball/softball tournament games have been postponed until next week. A schedule will be forthcoming.
3rd and 4th grade students that are participating in cross country will have practice after school today.
The Willow Springs xc meet is for 3-8th graders that have attended a practice.
A change has been made to our Athletic schedule this week. There will be no running practice Thursday (9/30) or Friday (10/1). Cross-country runners that would like to attend the Willow Springs Middle School xc meet can do so on Thursday. We will take a bus to the meet. Parents can pick their child up at the meet, or at HV around 6:30 upon the return of the bus.
We had special guests this morning at Howell Valley School. The students were excited to be greeted by the MSU Grizzlies as they arrived this morning.

Due to wet, soggy fields A-team softball practice will be cancelled tonight. A-Team baseball practice will take place in the FEMA gym.
5th-8th graders wanting to run in the Zizzer Invitational XC meet tomorrow (9-14) will need to arrange to get a ride to the meet on their own. The 5-6th grade girls will run at approximately 5:30 with the 5-6th boys to follow. All 5-6th runners should try to be there at 5:00. 7-8th grade girls will run at approximately 6:10. All 7-8th grade runners should try to be there at 5:30. Thank you.
All B and C Team boys except 7th graders will travel to Fairview at 3:00 tomorrow. Students will need to have a ride pick them up at Fairview school by 5:30. Thank you.

Baseball players need to wear baseball pants this morning if you have a pair. Weather looks like it is going to cooperate this morning.
Due to incoming rain girls softball practice will be canceled this morning. Boys baseball will practice in the FEMA gym. If rains persist tomorrow, then softball will be in the gym and baseball will be canceled.
Howell Valley Open House will be coming up soon, and with the increase in Covid-19 cases in our area, we will continue to be diligent in implementing measures to help reduce exposure for our community.
One way is to schedule appointments. We understand you may have several students in different grades, and Open House scheduling could be a challenge. Our goal is to try and streamline the process by asking you to schedule all your children’s visits through the Howell Valley office. By scheduling through the office, Mary Ann will work to get your appointments as close together as possible.
Open House is scheduled for August 17th and 19th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please contact the office (256-2268), to schedule your appointment(s).
We will have baseball and softball practices Wednesday 8/18, and Thursday 8/19 from 7:30-9:00 AM for those interested in playing these sports this year. Bring a glove, hat, and water bottle.
In case you’re wondering, your kids are safe and dry at Sports Camp.
HV Sports Camp: Come unplugged. Please do not send cell phones or electronics with your child. Call one of these numbers if you need to contact your child: 293-7377, Coach Dixon; 274-4690, Mrs. Dixon. Remember water bottles. We will be drinking water with our meals.
It's almost time to start our 2nd day of HV Sports Camp. We will be camping tonight, so if you signed up to bring a tent please remember to bring it. Don't worry if you don't have a tent, we have tent assignments for you. Bring a change of clothes for tomorrow's activities, and some deodorant would be nice. Showers are available if kids would like to use them before bedtime. Also, if you did not pay your registration fee yesterday, please send that today so we have enough money to order pizza.
Reminder: Today's Sports Camp is just a day camp. Please do not bring camping equipment today. Bring gym shoes, ball gloves (if you have one), a refillable water bottle and $15 registration fee.
